The US sportswear retailer, Dick’s Sporting Goods, has partnered with Uber Eats to offer its customer on-demand delivery on a wide selection of footwear.
When you’re browsing on Uber Eats it’s usually recommended eateries, local Chinese restaurants & 5 star fried chicken shops. From sizzling hot dishes to now sneakers, Dick’s Sporting Goods have partnered with the $20 billion delivery platform Uber Eats to expand its digital footprint. Offering its customers the option for on-demand delivery to have their favourite footwear delivered direct to the door in less than an hour. With a wide selection of footwear available to order using the Uber Eats delivery app, from over 800 Dick’s Sporting Goods store, the partnership will also allow customers to schedule a delivery time to suit them.
Coined by Dick’s as bringing the “locker room to the living room”, the partnership with Uber Eats will allow athletes to get their gear faster than ever before without stepping foot into an actual store. Shoppers can simply make their orders for Dick’s using the ‘retail’ category section on the Uber Eats app which also can be tracked in real time just like the food deliveries.
