From OG Stan Smith’s to 50 variations of the Superstar, the celebrated collaboration between the Billionaire Boy’s Club founder/rapper/fashion creative & “die marke mit den 3 streifen” has remained some of the most talked about drops in the ever evolving world of raffles, releases & resale. The very latest release comes in the form of a 90s running trainer which is now under the umbrella of Pharrell’s new creative brand, Virginia, named after the American artists home state. Featuring a vibrant orange colourway, the Adistar Jellyfish trainer gives a nod to the planktonic marine life of Virginia Beach with a re-imagined silhouette.
Featuring an exaggerated midsole that draws inspiration from the floating gills of a jellyfish with layered mesh uppers that also glow in the dark. The unique logo reflects the distinctive shape of the jellyfish itself with “VIRGINIA” branding added to the insole & tongue. Built around the concept of divers, the campaign takes us deep into the colourful waters of coral reefs & jellyfish.
